Despite our position that our Contract prohibits the involuntary furlough of any of our Members as a result of productivity improvements from our 2012-2016 Contract, United management has stated that there will be an involuntary furlough.

Due to the advocacy of your Union, AFA-CWA and United have reached an agreement to allow Flight Attendants who participated in the 2014 Bridge Crossover program to return back to pre-merger United.
Nov 21 - Today United announced the second round of release dates for those who were awarded positions in the Enhanced Early Out Bid.
Nov 7 - Our Members who have been recalled to JFK from Involuntary Furlough will shortly begin receiving letters at their address on record with United advising them of the domicile orientations that will be taking place on November 15, 16 & 17, 2014 at Newark (EWR).
Oct 24 - United posted on their website, Flying Together, the uniform ordering
deadlines for those Flight Attendants who are returning to work from
either Voluntary or Involuntary Furlough.
