Your Rights As An Employee
AFA-CWA Reference Handbook for United Airlines Flight Attendants
Download PDF Version
When you become an employee of United Airlines, you are entitled to certain basic human rights.
The purpose of this booklet is to state some basic guidelines that you may refer to if you are ever involved as a witness or grievant in a disciplinary situation. The Union's purpose is not to condone theft, intoxication or any of the other events that are described. Rather, our purpose is to state that there are some rules that the company must follow in these instances. Even if it never happens to you, it may happen to one of your flying partners. Keep these pages readily available at all times. A quick reference to them at the right time may save headaches later.
