Issue: Male shoes – heel height and requirement for a separate heel
Response: While not published in any of the three previous versions of the appearance regulations, many were learning the requirement for a separate heel for the first time when they were at work. Management has indicated this was an oversight and will be included in the upcoming revision to the appearance standards.
Issue: Prohibition against goatees for Male Flight Attendants
Response: After considerable discussion with AFA, the appearance standards were revised to permit goatees.
