Our Negotiating Committee and representatives of our United MEC will be traveling to each Local Council to conduct Town Hall meetings. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an update on the status of our Section 6 Negotiations and the mediation process under the Railway Labor Act, along with information about the merger and what it means for United Flight Attendants. We will discuss Union Representation, Seniority Integration, bringing the best of both pre-merger Contracts into a single Contract and the timeline expected for the operational integration.

We have an opportunity to gain Contractual improvements for Flight Attendants through our current Section 6 negotiations as well as the inevitable single Contract negotiations in the future; combining the best of the pre-merger Continental Flight Attendant Contract and United AFA Contract. We expect the world’s leading airline to produce the world’s leading Flight Attendant Contract.
